Case work

I bring the technical view to the unit's cases. I write technical notes, explain in meetings how the technology involved actually works, and try products out myself, so the people assessing a case can see it clearly.

Helping companies build in Europe

The unit also shows that EU digital rules can work in a company's favour, on two fronts, and I'm part of both. One brings venture capital from the United States to Europe and gets investment flowing to European companies. The other meets entrepreneurs at events, shows them the opportunities the rules open up and helps them get building.

AI tools for the unit

I'm one of the technical people in a small team building AI tools for the unit's own work. We talk to colleagues across units to find where their workflows lose time, then build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines that automate parts of the routine, non-sensitive work.
